I guess "Gothic" has become a term used for a lot of things that used to be horror? Dracula and Vampirella definitely are usually classified as horror.

Buddy of mine is very similar. Freddy, Jason, Myers, Leatherface are horror along with anything loved by so called "horror fans". Bram Stoker's Dracula or any usual characters are not horror yet YET... Jaws is horror for him. No not even terror, Jaws is horror,

Personally I think it is just a difference in what used to be horror compared to now. Now it takes a movie like Saw to get people feeling genuinely uneasy. Many people now would not consider Hammer as horror but they definitely were considered horror for decades.

Sort of a giant semantic argument over what is "horror"

I don't think I've seen anyone have any issue with labeling American Psycho, Young Frankenstein, Reanimator, Evil Dead franchise, etc... as horrors but none of them are scary or trying to invoke fear. In fact you could argue all of them are straight up comedies with the exception of the first Evil Dead film. Horror is often more about the subject matter or the aesthetic. Something can literally be horrifying, which means it is scary. It can also convey ideas related to horror.

You can definitely just stop at the fat titt*es if you want, but in the end of the day she's emerging from a pool of blood, beckoning a skull above her that is dripping blood, has demonic eyes, has horns and giant wings, pale white skin, and is given a red and black motif. If you cannot tell the difference between this and the bright colored light skinned blushing smiling Albedo statue you posted then I don't really know what to say. I think it is very fair to consider this statue horror and not that Albedo. That being said, the later Overlord novels are actually quite gruesome and edgy and the overall subject matter, despite what it might seem like at first, may actually fit the label just fine. That wouldn't retroactively make the Albedo statue a horror statue, but it would make her a horror icon in the same way that a Dracula or Patrick Bateman statue is. Of course the version PCS made of Bateman with him smiling and blood all over his raincoat is a different story altogether, but the fact that you can just add a weapon and blood to something and it is suddenly "horror" can show how superficial the label can be sometimes. For a lot of folks it is more about monsters and demons. Many would raise an eyebrow at this statue even if she were fully clothed just because of the demonic nature it is obviously invoking. That's certainly a sign of horror. I can think of nothing more horrifying in the West than the association with Satan.

Sideshow Succubus is definitely a horror piece.

There is blood dripping all over this Succubus, while she is standing on a bloody fountain, and blood leaking from the skull of poor soul she just devoured.

Is it sexual? Hell Yes.

However, there are plenty of statues that have sexual nature. For example PCS Vampirella with the two vampire ladies, where Vampirella's outfit is made of blood. Nothing wrong with it, but that one didn't appeal to me.

I don't understand the need to discredit something as horror just because it is sexy. But, anywho. Now I'm even more excited to see the full reveals for the new vampire lady and the new undead samurai lady.
